At the Dec. 3 annual general meeting (AGM), School District 68 were selected for the 2025/2026 school year.
Incumbent board chair Naomi Bailey remains in her position and was nominated unopposed.
“It’s an honor to be the chair of the [school district] again, and work with all of you on the board and our senior staff,” Bailey said at the Dec. 3 meeting. “I appreciate it, and I’ll do my very best.”
Leanne Lee took the position of vice-chair over from Greg Keller, as the only person of the four nominees who accepted the position.
Tom Rokeby was elected as the strategic directions committee chair, in a three-way ballot vote, and Mark Robinson was elected as vice-chair of the strategic directions committee with no other nominations for the position.
Other positions decided were Leana Pellegrin as the B.C. School Trustees Association (BCSTA) provincial councillor, and Chantelle Morvay as an alternate.
