Speaking for Tangled Roots, I want to thank the people who made our Food Bank benefit concert at the GAC Hall on May 17th a success. We raised almost $600 for the Food Bank
I hope everyone there enjoyed themselves as much as we did!
Carol Furgusson/May’D on the rock, organized everything for the venue, donated processing fees for tickets, and set up and broke down before and after, with help from Dave Roban.
Gabriola Arts Council donated use of the GAC Hall.
BJ Godson handled the door.
A big Thanks all of the above, and to everyone who bought tickets!
And, finally, a big THANKS to PHC and everyone at the Food Bank, for all the good work you do, every week, all year.
Times are tough, and getting tougher. The Food Bank feeds our community, and provides a contact point for other needed help and services.
When your garden overflows this season, bring your extras!
