Voting will open at 3pm

At the Gabriola Fire Protection  Improvement District Trustee meeting on March 2, 2022, the Trustees  approved the hours of voting this year as noted below. There will not be voting after the AGM has concluded.

Polls open: 3:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

Polls closed: AGM

UPDATE to include results: 268 Ballots cast. 1 ballot spoiled.

The people running for Trustee this year were:

James Arends. Votes: 152

Paul Giffin. Votes 150

Gregg Cherrington-Kelly. Votes 122

In order to be eligible to vote the following applies:

A Canadian Citizen; 18 years or older; a registered land owner in the Improvement District; an authorized agent of any Board or Corporation what is owner of such land; a legal representative of any owner of such land who has died, become insolvent or insane; a resident of B.C. for the last six (6) months.
