IN LOVING MEMORY of Amanda Black
February 13, 1998 – February 08, 2021
Amanda Black was taken from her family and friends tragically on February 8th 2021, at the age of 22. Amanda was a victim of domestic violence. Her loss leaves a massive void in her loved ones hearts. She was a beautiful woman who loved her son, father, friends, all children, and animals.
She is survived by her son Jasper, 17 months and her father, Rick Black;
Sister, Brandy Bauman (Thomas), their children, Hunter, Fisher and Aria;
Brother, Justin Black and son Connor;
Grandparents, George and Linda Black;
Uncle Greg Black (Veronica), cousins, Brandon Black (Copper) and their 3 children; Nathaniel Shanks (Kiran); Ruth Shanks (Josh);
Aunt Michele Black (Chris) and their two children, Kael and Chloe.
Amanda also leaves a large extended family in both Alberta and BC, as well as close friends in many provinces.
Amanda’s final resting place will be Gabriola Island.
Amanda’s family would like to concentrate on bringing awareness for victims of domestic violence. We will have purple ribbons available for anyone who would like one.
