Codi Rochelle Dumont

Words cannot express how sad and broken-hearted we are to announce the unexpected passing of Codi. She was a young free spirit who loved life and all it had to offer. She lived both in Ontario and Gabriola Island, British Columbia, however Gabriola was ‘her place’. She will be deeply missed by her 2 daughters, Katherine and Layna Dumont, her mother Jacki Dumont, her grandmother Rochelle Evanshen, her brothers Myles Dumont (Jessica) and Justin Dumont (Sarah), her uncles, aunts, cousins and the numerous friends she made along her adventurous life’s journey, both in Ontario and on Gabriola.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for July 22nd on Gabriola Island in the Timber Frame at the Commons, 675 North Rd., from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Please plan to attend and help celebrate Codi, share some stories, memories, music and a few light snacks with us. Feel free to bring a dish, snack, salad, dessert or an instrument if you wish as Codi was a music lover, fond of drum circles, impromptu acoustic sets and all music in general. Also please bring a chair.
