In loving memory of Douglas William Eadie

Predecessed by his daughter, Sarah, and son-in-law, John. He leaves behind and will be greatly missed by his loving wife Marnie and his grandchildren, Shauna Thompson and Liam Labell. Also brothers John and Charles.
Doug and Marnie came to Gabriola in 1979 from Ontario where he worked as a diesel mechanic in the trucking industry. On Gabriola he worked as a mobile mechanic and eventually opened his own shop in 2007.
Doug will be remembered by his friends as a great storyteller. He was an enthusiastic guitar picker and singer. Doug was a devoted family man who loved to go on spontaneous roadtrips with his granddaughter, Shauna.
He will be forever missed.
There will be a celebration of Doug’s life in the new year.
