Joan Roberta Nelson

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother Joan, at Eagle Ridge Hospital at the age of 78 surrounded by loads of family. Joan was the only daughter of Walter and Jean Kerry and predeceased by brother Wayne.
Joan is survived by her six children- Paul(Pam), Todd, Troy(Wendi), Kerry(Debbie), Gina(Phil), Don(Yoko) and grand-children Taylor, Harrison, Aiden, Ruby, Skylar and Crawford.
Mom was the matriarch and patriarch of the Lucas Clan as well as mentor and confidante to most of their friends. Joan’s interests included playing piano, crosswords, Coronation Street, dancing the night away and enjoying the “odd” libations.
Love many and trust few but always paddle your own canoe!
