Robert Gribbon

1947-2023

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Gribbon (known as Scotty to all his friends and acquaintances).

Robert lost his battle with cancer (mesothelioma) and died peacefully in his sleep in the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH Thursday, February 9, 2023.

Robert is predeceased by his parents Alex and Annie, his brother Gordon and his brother-in-law Douglas. He is survived by his sister Helen (Douglas) his wife Anne, his son Lyle (Angela) and daughter Robin (Marc), his stepson Jay, stepdaughters Jeri-Anne (James), Sandra (Will) and Cheryl (Ed). He is also survived by 1 grandson, 2 step-grandsons, 5 step-granddaughters, and 3 step-great-granddaughters, plus many other family members (aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins) living in Canada and Scotland, who will mourn his passing.

Robert, we love you and miss you. You will remain in our hearts forever.

A Gathering to celebrate the life of Scotty (Robert) will be at the Surf Lodge, April 22, 2023 between the hours of 1-5pm. Please feel free to join us during that time. Refreshments will be served.
